SET DESIGN

OVERVIEW

Every set design is developed with specific goals: to capture the spirit of a holiday or theme, evoke a feeling, and immerse viewers in a unique atmosphere. Each painting is created with careful attention to detail, intuitive ideas and requires more than 40 hours of work from the initial concept to the final execution. Once an event concludes, the walls are painted black to create a blank canvas for the next design, allowing each environment to be completely transformed. To help convey the true scale of these installations, I am pictured in front of many of the murals throughout each subpage. Several of these murals span approximately 24 feet wide by 14 feet tall, while others, such as the “IT” clown face in the Halloween Set, measure 14 by 14 feet. My goal is for guests to feel as though they have stepped away from the ordinary world and into a completely different environment, creating a memorable visual experience that leaves a lasting impression long after the event has ended.
